Stafford, Darelle Revis test at Gatorade Center Friday AM

February 4th, 2010 | by detfan1979 |

Hey guys! Quick update! I got an email from Gatorade today highlighting that Matthew Stafford and Darelle Revis (along with Tim Tebow) will be doing testing at the Gatorade Center in Miami. Here is their email with the information:

Given your exclusive focus on the Lions, thought you’d be interested in some cool stuff we’re doing with Matthew Stafford down in Miami for Super Bowl XLIV.

Stafford along with a handful of elite athletes including Eli Manning, Miles Austin, Tim Tebow and more will be undergoing performance testing at the Gatorade Performance Lab with the Gatorade Sports Science Institute. Athletes will also be getting a sneak peek of the new G Series — a line of Gatorade products (due this spring) designed to meet athlete needs before, during and after activity.

These tests will be broadcast live via www.ustream.tv/gstream . We encourage you and your readers to check out the broadcast and ask Stafford questions live on USTREAM’s social stream or viawww.facebook.com/gatorade . Stafford will test Friday @7:10amET.

For more information on Gatorade Performance Lab, and to download multimedia from this week’s athlete tests, please visit:http://www.gatorade.com/media/

We hope that you will share this information with your community. Please let me know if you have any questions.

stafford is the real deal, he just needs to stay healthy and he should have a long career ahead of him, remember farve came into greenbay when they were at the bottom and look what happened with him, manning the same with the colts and breeze with the saints. Already in last years season it was like i knew if stafford was starting we would have a chance at a win, when he wasnt starting I felt we had no chance, just think when were a better team? all your guy’s thoughts to this?

I was just reading a couple of stories on M-Live and thought I pass along some info!! They Lions sigen former browns running back DeDe Dorsey and now they are working out Stallworth. I kinda like the idea of Stallworth, anyone else?

I do like the idea of Stallworth. Sing him to an inexpensive 3 yr deal, and see what he has left in the tank. He could be a solid #2, #3 guy that can also stretch the field. He’s the guy on the other side the Lions need to keep deep coverage off CJ and open up the underneath to whomever they find to man the slot and Pettigrew.

I’ll address this soon, but Huge and BVO were just blowing hot air and crap as usual. They painted a situation that was not close to reality that was clearly reported. Why else do you think Gooddell reinstated him so quickly — as soon as his 1 year was up? he let Vick hang out there for months.
